In a gravel pit near Wilsum, close to the Netherlands border, pebble-agates can be foung, whose structure reminds of vein-agates with amethyst from Saxonian occurrences - as for instance Oberschlottwitz -. This would speak for the Elbe as catchment area for that gravel. However are also in the Rhine pebbles, which from Sulzburg originate, as similarly formed vein-agates that are look-alikes to those from Wilsum.
