The finding-region Seckerborn (called also "Brünnelschen") lies on the ridge of the Kahlenberg hill, Northwest of Wendelsheim. Especially for vine yard grubbing-up here very nice findings of agate nodules could be made.
The agates of this finding point are primary in nature, i.e. they are taken from the rock, which is situated under the surface. The color of these agates differ in their cream tones to the other rhine-hessian agate-locations.(similariy colors can onyl be found at the "racetrack" in Nack.
Rarely here also yellow and red agates are occuring. Besides agate nodules you will find here beautiful vein-structures with pseudomorphs ("Skolezite-agate").
