In the spring of 2012, an outcrop of beautiful agates and Chalcedonies was approached on the construction site of Weierbach B-41. In the summer collectors could dig at this point for agates. These nodular agates were characterized by a variety of structures, so eg. sponge-like chalcedony structures, cloud-like structures of chalcedony, pseudomorphs, curtains of stalctitical formations, chocolat-colored jasper etc. (see article Lapis 06 / 2012 only in german). Unfortunately the nodules rarely reached a size of 10 cm, usually these agates were only up to 60 mm in size.Since 2013 there are unfortunately at this point no more finding options.
