IIn the Vauligny Quarry at Tonnerre in the Departement of Yonne banded flint with a nice pattern is occuring. The flint nodules can be found in a yellowish limestone.

This flint is looking very similar to its brother from Poland, but the french material does not polish so well, because some parts of the rock might be not sufficent silificated.
