There is a close relationship between the vein-agates from Scheuern and Setz Quarry at Steinbach. The distance between booth locations is via birdline about 2 and a half mile. The finding-area here in Scheuern is wider - the fields between this village and the village Hasborn offer in autumn and winter o lot of little vein-agate chunks in different formations. Here in Scheuern the vein-agates show colours between brown, red, orange and rarely a bright yellow. Sulfidic inclusions as in Steinbach do occur - but a they very rare. A lot of the vein-agates from Scheuern do have a mossy appereance. Sometimes eye-agates do occur. A very rare find is this specimen showing a plume-agate-structure.
