Since 2013 is an intensely blue colored chalcedony with lighter bands from Saricikaya in the vicinity of Eskesehir on the market.

The material is similar to the chalcedony from Malawi in structure and colour, especially because the Chalcedonies of both locations of the calcite surrounding them is desintegrated by acid. You can see this well in the strong rugged outer skin of the pieces.

The prices for this material are quite high, but accepted by the market.
