In the castle ditch of the little town Mutzschen a porphyric rock is situated. It is bearing little lithophysae containing mostly geodes of rock-crystal. Agate is occuring more rarely. For the lithophysae a diameter of 2 to 4cm is common, but sometimes they are reaching sizes up to 15cm.
