Around the village Imsbach at the Donnersberg in Palatia an extensive area is situated, in which in earlier times intensive mining industry on silver, non-ferrous metals and iron was going on. Also several places of discovery for agates (Langheckerhof and Katharinental) are in the proximity. Integrated in the event-concept “Bergbau Erlebnis Welt Imsbach” (“mining industry experience world Imsbach”) is beside these pits, which can be partly visited by interested one, also the “Pfälzisches Bergau Museum” ( the “Palatinate mining industry museum”). Agates of the surrounding places of discovery can be admired here.

At present (2012) a highly interesting special exhibition takes place: " Pictures within the stone - the agate place of discovery Karrenberg Quarry near Reichweiler and its minerals”. The presentation is shown from April, the 22nd until Oktober, the 30st.
