In Grieth at the Rhine the finding of an agate pebble succeeded to Günther Erkens, most likely like those agate-types from the area of Hirstein / Hahnweiler. The cloud-like structure corresponds very well with the findings from Hirstein / Hahnweiler – only the amber-like color of this agate owed to the stay at the iron-rich sediments is slightly different to the usually white to pink cloud agates from Hirstein / Hahnweiler.
