Along the Mississippi River banks, agates of a similar type can be found so in Wabash County, Minnesota at the Crowley Ridge in Missouri and just nearby the town Franklinton as well. These agates are formed in sediments, usually weakly banded and showing only a low contrast in white and gray tones.
