Similar to the fairburn-agates are those agates from Crowley Ridge, Missouri. Their edges are strongly smoothened by water-transports and their pattern is showing a wide banding. They are not showing so intensively and deeply contrasting colours as the Fairburns.

Agates of the same type can be found in Arkansas, Mississippi and Lousiana.
