Agates from El Sombrero are very similar to those of the Passo del Berwin and Gan Gan. They show outside a wind polish and show inside colors in great variety. They have a fine banding. The agate nodules grow up to 15 cm size. Color change independently to the banding - known as Chromatographies - do occur very often.
