In October 2012, there was a new material offered in Idar-Oberstein, Germany. Flint from China arrived at the rockshop of Impexco. The exact finding-location is still unknown.
They could compensate with this material the high demand - arising from a range of Polish flints that were unfortunately too quickly out of order- . I could see this new material after the thumbling - a processing method that works very bad for Flint. After the process, the material showed a large number of cracks. However the nice contrastfully pattern compensates this problem.
