Willow Creek Jasper is found in a small area northwest of Boise in Idaho . The jasper is filling here the center of  gigantic thundereggs. The largest of them are reaching a diameter of 3 m with a length of 5 m. In the mine of Larry Ridley (he claimed all the occurences of this fine type of jasper)  the jasper in good comercial quality is found usually in the large thundereggs. - in such a way J. Zenz writes in its book agates III, Bode publishing house 2011: “… however once a good “egg” is opened 50 - 100 kg of fine jasper can be extracted”. The many thousand small Thundereggs are not used, since the jasper is too unequally distributed in them and constitutes only a small percentage of the volume of the thundereggs. This Jaspis is very estimated in the USA, because it shows variety of most different pattern - flowing structures, rhythmic repetitions of form and also the demanded “Egg -Shell-Pattern”. Also its harmonic pastels make it covetable. At last the materialis polishable in an excellent way.
