A small quarry above the Welschroether Hof near to the village of Sien supplied very interesting agates in the 1980ies .

The occurrence of white finelined agate together with yellowish calcite characteristic. The occurrence of yellow tree-like silificied feric oxide structures, so-called “plumes” was singular.

Today above-mentioned quarry is completely landfilled.
