On the plateaus of the Waldviertel vein-agates can be found. These vein-agates are showing a varied sequence of crystallization stages of agate, alternating with macro-crystalline quartz.

According to Peter Huber, a well-known agate-collector from Austrai, the location is situated near to Langschwarza ( between Schrems and Vitis).
