The Wahlenbach is a  tributary of the Fischbach Creek in the vicinity of Niederwörresbach. The presence of beautiful, deep purple amethyst in the volcanic rocks of the Wahlenbach was apparently, as these areas in the 1960iger and 197iger have been dismantled by quarry operations of Bernhard Ltd. The remaining amethyst bearing areas are difficult to access and deliver only modest specimen.
