Iceland was formed by volcanos and ice. It is not amazing that there are occurrences of agate on this island. Amazing is however that there are no specimen on the collectors market.

If nevertheles a specimen of this arctic island shows up, it is sometimes only a modest proof, like this light blue, only weak banded chalcedony of Stedji.
