The agate finding location at theRingberg  near Schweinschied is belonging to the isolated amygdaloite occurences in the northern Palatia. On a minimal surface of 20 m by 100 m small nodules are possible findings(to 50mm diameter). They are outwardly usually blue but show however inside also red layers.
