In the proximity of  Tonopah around the Saddle Mountain fire agates can be collected in the environment. Here in the plains around saddle Mountain the ground is covered with small white chalcedony-pieces, from which however only a small part is fire agate.

Very nice fire-agates originate from locations in Chihuahua.
