In Roitsheim, my family and I, were led through the Rhine agate collectors Raimund Roiko to make the experience of collecting Rhine agates. My little son (3 years at that time) found more puddles in which he could fall, as I found that day agates. Due to his experience Raymond could do better. Some finds, that we could do on this day, can be found here on the website ( 5, 8, 13 ). The Find (11), which is quite interesting due to the needled pseudomorphs in the agate, is not from that day. Similar findings come from Leitzweiler.
