The Rockhound State park is situated in the Little Florida Mountains near Deming and is offering the ossibility  of collecting thundereggs. However also Claims do exist in the park, that may not be entered by collectors, such as the claim of the Never Again mine.

 The Thundereggs, which are originating from the park, are having usually a brownish, aphanatic matrix and are bearing grey, white or also black toned agate. Apart from beautiful pseudomorphic formations also “natural tilts” are occuring, which are conservating tectonic processes  during the agate formation.
