The agate pebbles from Murgon in Queensland are situated on secondary deposits. They were transported by water over long distances to this point. Sometimes it is possible to identify the source of origin because of  the structure of a nodule (e.g. similarities to Agate Creek). Other nodules are heavily wheathered so there is no more evidence for their origin - but these agates are showing some of the most interesting patterns. Beside of agate nodules petrified wood does occur too.
