Purple Passion Agate is an intensively blue-violet colored vein- agate. The mine is originated near to Casas Grandes in Chihuahua. Pieces of best color are reaching rarely more than 10cm in diameter. Since the vein of best colors  in the mine faded out, the Miner Alberto Rey sells now also different colours - e.g. in pink and reddish, more rarely yellow. Purple Passion Agates are probably for this reason now as “Del Rey agates” on the market.
