Ochoco Rim Jasper or Bat Cave Jasperoriginates from the proximity of the Ochoco Rim near Prineville. It occurs as layers vein filling in the rock. If one orients the front of a Cabochons parallel to the banding one receives beautiful stones with circular pattern. Normally Ochoco Rim Jaspis shows brown and ocher, now and then red, rarely yellow and green colors.
