On the fields west the village Jeckenbach, as well as on the outcrops, which already are on the troop exercise area (Wüstung Oberjeckenbach), one can find pieces of multicolored colored vein-agates again and again.

It is absolutely forbidden to collect any minerals at this place, because this location is a part of the artillery range area. Militarypolice is controling even this abandoned area regulary.
