The finding area around the Grootberg pass is under mineral collectors famous for its occurrences of well crystallized  zeolites - like heulandite, scolecite, stilbite and many others. Within the lower ranges of the vesicle-rich lava also agate nodules from white to greyish color-tones are whitespread.
