Areas of arable land north the village Mettweiler offer the possibility to find  agates of different formations. Many of the nodules represent porcelain agates. The fields south ofMettweiler - direction Baumholder - hardly lead agates. East Mettweiler changes the local finding zone into those of the Breitsesterhof.
