“ .... There are a number of dig sites at this locality. The black agate dig has produced a number of outstanding black agates that show a variety of structures.  They can be horizontally banded, fortified, or picture agates.  Other than the black base colour specimens obtained from this show site white, greys and yellows through to orange. Access to this site is difficult as it is on private land and it is difficult to gain access.  Furthermore this dig can no longer be accessed as it has been covered over by the current logging operation....”
