One should confound Luna Agate from Luna, new Mexico not with the very particularly formed Luna agate from Mexico. The agate occurring here is, if freshly dug, easily bluish gray colored and is showing only a weak banding. Surface collected material,which was exposed already longer to the wheathering is showing yellow to orange (“golden”) colours.
