In 2014 a few agate nodules could be found at a wind turbine construction on the arable land by Leitzweiler. They were usually very small (up to 90 mm) and stretched. In addition to cloudy agate formation was also fortified agate occuring. These agates were showing  yellow and white tones. Intense red patterns by “Liesegang rings” were rare.
