Las Arenas is for most of the collectors an unknown  finding zone for agates. It ist situated close to San Rafael. This may be because usually very small agates can be found here (usually to 60mm size). Typically for agates of Las Arenas is their usually yellow to orange colouring. Also from here beautiful pseudomorphous formations after needle-like minerals are originated.
