There is no claim currently worked under this name and there is no old deposit associated with that name. All distinguishing characteristics tell that the agates are out of the area of Loma Pinta. There are certain names that locals tend to put on anything they see. That is true for "La Canada".

But that does not mean that nobody nearby Loma Pinta is digging for agates and offering them as La Canada.
