In the region Kuruman is the occurence for important semi precious gem stone like red Jasper (Silex) and so-called “Buntjaspis”, which is showing a multiplicity of colouring . In smaller lots one finds interesting semi precious gem stone materials, so for example a Jaspis, from this region which shows flower-like inclusions of goethite.
