Agates from Kronweiler of places of discovery, which more or less are on Nahe River level, are usually white and light-grey banded. They are weathered strongly in parts and decompose in little white flakes. On the inside they show apart from their banding also very interesting pseudomorphs after carbonates. Also amethyste occurs together with these agates.
