The Jeremy's Bed thundereggs are named after Jeremy Carter who discovered the bed around the year 2006 in the Mill Creek drainage in the Ochocco Mountains. They are quite different from other Ochocco eggs. They quite often "loose" their caps and therefore look a lot like agate nodules, but they are thundereggs. They are generally golf ball sized and elongated but can be as large as a softball.

On this deposits two levels are producing thundereggs: the upper ( 5, 6, 7 ) and the lower level (1, 2, 3, 4, ) The Thundereggs from the lower level are showing a more isometrical core. The Thundereggs from the upper level are more flattened.
