Along the valley created by the Idarbach findings of beautifully patterned agates be made again and again when construction work is taking place (Goettenbach, houses and mansions along the main street ...).

An opportunity for digging beautiful specimen resulted in the case of the building of the BP gas station in the main street in the year 1995. The agates of this zone show red and pink hue, as well as a beautiful fortification Pattern. In particular pieces are interesting that are showing  remaining hostrock.
