In the year 2009 on the area of the Sportverein Idar in the Haag a further (third) sports field was built. Although here wide earth movements took place, unfortunately the ground was been worked for only half a meter of depth. Many agates could be found, however these were due to decomposition very fragilly. The decomposition may have been also the reason for that the agates showed only white to grey colouring. The jaspers found in the same situation were beautifully red and yellow colored. Several awesome cabochons could be made out of this material.
