Agates from Hungary are located in the Matra Mountains, less than 100 kilometers apart from Budapest. Usually these are vein-agates, composed of a nicely bluish chalcedony and several types of mossy-agate. Depending on splitting the rock, this material is offering complete fortification-pattern, tube-agate or eye-agate.
