The Grube Clara is one of the most famous mineral localities in Germany. This is a due to the easy accessibility for collectors of all ages (s.h website) and on the other to the great variety of the mineral species found here. The beauty of the mostly small minerals is presented to the viewer usually only under a microscope.

The veinminerals as barite and fluorite, and also the agate presented here are visible with the naked eye. However, agate is not particularly common on the pit. It is brownish and white mostly in the so-called "scheelite material" on the barite dump as thin seams and bands as a reddish, brown and white vein agate.
