The Ringelbach Creek rises in Goettschied and flows steeply downhill toward Mittelbollenbach, where it flows into the Nahe River. Within the upper, quite steep range it cuts several small agate occurrences, from which the most well-known  offers intensively red agates. Unfortunately this occurrence is meanwhile quite exploited.
