Jeffrey Anderson is describing this location on his website dwarve´s earth treasures.
“... Obtained thru a trade. It was claimed that this agate was the only one sticking out of ground in a ranch near Fort Stockton, Texas. It's safe for me to say that it was found in an alluvial deposit coming from the mountains to the southwest. It's the largest banded agate and I have seen coming from Texas so far and it got nice pastel colors. It's not known if there are any more of that kind of agate at the ranch but like many ranches in the Big Bend of Texas, the ranch is private and focused on cattle raising so it may be not possible to have an access to the ranch...”
