With earth movements and foundation excavations within the range of the road "Grosse Trenk", which belongs to the finding area of Finkenberg, finds of smaller agate nodules typically formed could be made in the 1990ies by agate collectors. On the one hand they are singular by their brownishly to orange colour - on the other hand there are some structural characteristics:

- very frequently in the boundary regions of the nodules are formations of individually standing spherulithics showing up.

- some agates were partly decolorized along a boundary line. So the impression takes place that the agates were differently formed in their different sectors.
