The unusual agate finds, which could be made with the foundation excavations of the new building of the company Giloy in the Max-Planck road into the 1990iger years are belonging to the finding region of Finkenberg.

Here a large number of geodes were found, which in their center beside smoke quartz and reddish ”Eisenkiesel”, both freshness, transparent, table formed baryte (crystals up to 40 mm size) and pseudomorphic formations from quartz after baryte contained. Completely with agate filled nodules were the exception. These agates are singular in their colour for the region - the creamish- light brownish colour reminds of "latte macchiato".
