The southern Patagonien was hardly examined so far on finding-possibilities for agates. Within a touristic round trip - the theme was only the nature beautifulnesses of this region, a quite well-known agate collector stumbled over the specimen shown here. One of them exhibits an interesting arranged “water-level-banding”. Both pieces show unusual black colours. The exact point of finding will be published here, if the more exact investigations were accomplished on his next trip.
