Fatsa close Ordu at the black sea is a finding-area for agates, which were transported by rivers from the nearby mountains into the coastal regions.

Their roundish form and their strongly waterworn skin are typical. On the inside these alluvial enriched agates are showing a fine lining. Beside grey-white also blue and intensively yellow colours are occuring.
