In the Pfalz are existing several very small, singular occurrences of agate-bearing amygdaloites. One is in the proximity of the locality Eulenbis at the Eulenkopf Mountain. The area on that agates can be found  is not much larger than 100m ². Agates occur in grey, reddish and white tones. More frequently than agates are small boulders of Jasper, which can be picked up here still relatively easily.
