Larimar is a pectolite blue colored by small vanadium contents. It comes from the southwest coast of the Dominican republic and is very in demand due to its beautiful blue color. After collecting at the secondary places near to the ocean-coastline, the interior was explored and the primary occurrences were discovered, which supply today the rough rocks.
