The Columbia River is the river with the highest water-content of North America and is draining the Canadian province of British Columbia, the US-States of Washington and Oregon in the North to the pacific ocan. Its catchment area reaches even up in the center of Idaho.

He is transporting tons of gravel, occasionally including agates. The present specimen is showing great similarities to agates from the Graveyard-Plume Type (Oregon)
