“...Unfortunately only rarely - excellent specimens of agate nodules in considerable sizes up to 15 cm in diametercome from this uncomfortable and inaccessible region in the extreme North-Western of Russia, situated halfway North of the Arctic Circle.

On the one hand, these specimen show often intensively parallel Uruguay bands within a large part or even the whole nodule, on the other hand very good traditional banding or 'pictures' and landscape patterns. Predominant colors are Brown, yellow, Orange, blue and white, sometimes in very intense contrasts to each other.
